Objective :

By 2030, strengthen African unity and soft power through 20 flagship cultural and heritage initiatives across the continent.

Activities :

  • Launch 5 annual Pan-African cultural festivals by 2027, showcasing African music, arts,
    cuisine, and heritage to promote unity and global visibility.
  • Integrate digital platforms and live streaming to reach global audiences and engage
    diaspora communities.
  • Establish capacity-building workshops for festival organizers and local artists to ensure
    professional event management and sustainable cultural programming.
  • Support 20 cross-border cultural exchange programs by 2030, fostering collaboration
    among artists, performers, and cultural institutions across Africa.
  • Develop a digital exchange platform for knowledge sharing, joint projects, and virtual
    residencies.
  • Incorporate mentorship and skills transfer initiatives to strengthen creative capacities
    and cultural entrepreneurship.
  • Partner with AU Agenda 2063 to develop 10 heritage preservation projects by 2030,
    safeguarding historical sites, monuments, and intangible cultural heritage.
  • Introduce innovative technologies such as 3D mapping, VR/AR heritage tours, and
    digital archives to enhance preservation and accessibility.
  • Engage local communities in heritage conservation programs, ensuring cultural
    continuity and sustainable tourism opportunities.
  • Train 2,500 cultural leaders, heritage managers, and artists by 2030 on cultural
    management, preservation, and creative industry entrepreneurship.
  • Launch a Pan-African Cultural Leadership Fellowship to nurture emerging leaders in
    arts, heritage, and cultural diplomacy.
  • Implement a Cultural Heritage and Pan-African Identity Dashboard to track festival
    participation, exchange program outcomes, and preservation project impacts.
  • Publish an annual Cultural Impact Report highlighting achievements, lessons learned,
    and recommendations for scaling Pan-African cultural initiatives.
