On behalf of the MENA International Trade and Diplomacy Organisation, I signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of Africa’s largest trade associations – the Global Chamber on African Trade, Rights and Economic Development. Ukraine has significant potential that is crucial for the development of African countries – from the agricultural sector, which is already capable of contributing to the region’s food security, to projects related to technology transfer, investment, healthcare, and trade, where we can create real value.
▪️During an online meeting with the GCATRED team – representing more than a dozen African countries and led by the organisation’s President, Amb. Emmanuel Amara Vandi Fomba – we discussed the key parameters of our future cooperation. Special attention was given to the AgroHub initiative in African countries – a platform designed to become a bridge between Ukrainian expertise and the needs of local markets.
▪️We also received important insights regarding the current demands of African states and opportunities for Ukraine to contribute to addressing them. This once again confirmed that our development priorities are mutually reinforcing, and the interest in Ukraine is both genuine and strategic.
The signed memorandum marks the beginning of a significant joint effort – one that will strengthen economic ties, generate new projects, and open access for Ukrainian businesses to promising African markets☑️
